Part of today’s events at the annual Georgia Cattlemen’s Convention and Trade Show was a hot topics round table discussion. Those participating included Georgia State Veterinarian Dr. Robert Cobb, Bill Vernon with Georgia EMC, Georgia Agribusiness Council President Bryan Tolar and Dr. Temple Grandin. A variety of topics concerning agriculture were discussed including young people and career fields, sustainability, labor, legislative issues, the over-reach of EPA regulations, and raising awareness of agriculture as a whole.
