Several citrus growers serving on the Citrus Research and Development Foundation’s board of directors Tuesday had numerous questions about efforts to expand the use of insecticides that control Asian citrus psyllids on young trees. This is a huge issue because the psyllids spread the disease HLB, and growers need to get those young trees into production to be successful. Foundation Chief Operating Officer Harold Browning discusses the issue.
