On-Farm Biodiesel Production

A recent bioenergy workshop held in Quincy and sponsored by three area RC&D councils and USDA’s NRCS in Florida, featured a hands on demonstration of how to make on-farm biodiesel.
This biodiesel extruder is a portable unit owned by the Three Rivers RC&D council that can be taken out to local farms to make biodiesel from plants and used cooking oil.
