Several amendments were added to the Senate Farm Bill during mark-up, including one that remove a provision to the payment limitation for the Environmental Quality Incentives Program, maintaining the exisiting limitation of 450-thousand – which reminds us to remind producers that the EQIP batching period for 2008 funding is coming up November 13. USDA-NRCS in Florida wants producers to know.
